Short answer: AiMOGA Robotics, based in Wuhu, China, said on 22 October 2026 that it has unveiled Mobo, its first consumer family companion humanoid, and opened pre-orders worldwide, according to a company press release. The announcement does not state a price or delivery date.

According to AiMOGA, Mobo is 0.9 metres tall, has 22 degrees of freedom and supports more than 20 languages. The company is aiming it at households: object recognition, questions and answers, storytelling and English practice for children, and conversation and reminders for older family members. AiMOGA says the robot recognises family members using face ID and keeps memories linked to each person.

Mobo runs on MoAgent, which AiMOGA describes as its embodied-intelligence agent, with a "dual-brain" design for planning and fast responses and a world model to check whether tasks have been completed. The company says the robot can handle up to 16 tasks in parallel with an interruption response time under 0.2 seconds, and that eligible data is de-identified on the device before it is used for cloud learning. These figures have not been independently tested.

AiMOGA says more than 10,000 prospective users have shown interest since Mobo's debut at the World Robot Conference in August 2026. More broadly, the company says it has sold more than 3,000 robots across over 60 countries and regions, and plans 300 experience centres worldwide and a robot-leasing brand starting in Wuhu, drawing on the manufacturing and sales resources of carmaker Chery.
