Low-cost humanoid maker Noetix has confidentially filed for a Hong Kong IPO, Bloomberg reports

Short answer: Noetix Robotics, a Beijing humanoid maker known for low-cost robots, has confidentially filed for an initial public offering in Hong Kong that could raise several hundred million dollars, Bloomberg reported, according to TechNode on 26 October. The listing could happen as early as 2027, but the amount and timing have not been finalised, the report said. Noetix has not publicly confirmed the filing in the sources we reviewed.

Founded in September 2023, Noetix makes the consumer-oriented Bumi humanoid, introduced with a starting price of RMB 9,998, alongside its N-series and E-series robots, TechNode reported. The company raised about RMB 1 billion in March in a round led by Chendao Capital, an investment platform affiliated with battery maker CATL, according to the outlet.

A listing would give Noetix another source of capital as it develops robots for consumer, education and commercial use, TechNode said. Our China hub and funding and policy coverage track the wider sector.
